Hi. I’m Paul Cochrane.

I’ve always been interested in fashion and style. I remember developing an interest back in the early 1980s – a time when London was leading the way in global fashions, and local hairdressing styles would sweep their way to becoming worldwide trends. The 80's was all about Buffalo Style (think Levi's Nick Camen Sade Nina Cherry and Malcom McLaren) which strangely was developed on Lambs Conduit Street by a cooperative headed by fashion stylist Ray Petri and I’ve worked on this street since 1989. 

I guess that’s what got me started, why I chose to become a hairdresser. I wanted to be a part of that revolution. Soon enough, I found I had a natural ability with hair. I didn’t just like it, I was good at it too. I worked my way through countless training courses – and years of experience – to become a successful, professional hair stylist.

Since then, my work has taken me all over the world. I’ve styled hair for more wonderful people than I can remember. I’ve worked with the stars, and I’ve met some real characters along the way. I even met my wife right here, in the salon!

There are many things that help shape and inspire me but would have say these would be up there. My Family and wanting to do the best for them. My time in The Parachute Regiment for adjusting my attitude to life by putting me into some very uncomfortable situations where you understand just how far you can go and the boys that I went through training with and then passing P Company.  Scott Schuman from The Sartorialist and his approach to photographing in the fashion capitals of the world: New York, London, Paris & Milan, also greatly inspires me.

I love the buzz of a happy motivated salon where the music is great and when a break in the music comes you can taste the passion, concentration and dedication to delivering great wearable haircuts...

My goal for Cochrane & Co is to become the go to salon for hair replacement and to be regarded as having the best hair systems available.

Hi, I'm Ros.

I have over 30 years of experience in hairdressing with extensive training and knowledge in barbering, colouring and cutting, and have specialised in men's hair systems for 10 years.

I am not only enthusiastic about the journey of transforming the way my client looks, but also how they go on to feel about themselves and their renewed confidence when wearing a system. The transformation is utterly amazing and extremely rewarding.

I am a good communicator and listen, it is of the utmost importance to me that the client needs are met and the desired outcome achieved. 

Aftercare following the fitting of a hair replacement system is also part of providing a professional service. I am always happy to offer advice and support. Using a combination of cutting techniques, creativity and understanding, I am committed to making the hair system experience a positive one.

Hi, I'm Jules. I come from a long line of hairdressing greats, in the words of Craig David I really was "born to do it".

People always ask me what I prefer to do - cutting or colouring men's hair, women's hair, perms of blow drying?

My answer is simple - the thing I love most about my job is taking my clients on a journey from listening to their ideas and working with them to achieve an amazing end result!

Hi I’m Ryan Fox and I act as the Business Manager for Cochrane & Co Hair Replacement in London.

I spent 6 years working for Wella UK as a Business Education Consultant and have been working as an independent Salon Management Consultant since 2007, helping salons to develop and grow.

I’ve been working with Paul and the team since 2008 in the background, but more recently I took on a more hands-on role managing all the business aspects of the company which covers reception management, hair system and product orders, marketing, client service, finance, IT and communication systems.

I often deal with client queries, ensure everyone is booked in correctly and that everyone has the correct hair system in stock on time for them.

I love organising and taking care of the business side of the salon, making sure everything runs smoothly. I’m Paul’s right-hand man, unless he’s busy with both hands (which he often is) and then I’m his left and right.

I fill in the gaps and do all that admin stuff that salon owners and stylists often don’t like doing, allowing them to focus on their clients and delivering excellent client care.

I’ve become passionate about men’s hair systems and am constantly learning new things about them as we push the boundaries of what’s possible in this specialist and fascinating area. I love that we can transform how someone looks so instantly and how it can help boost their confidence and self-esteem to enable them to be the best version of themselves. It’s very rewarding.
